Why skirting is a must for manufactured homes

When choosing a manufactured home that fits your style and needs, it’s important to remember to buy and install the skirting. Not only is the skirting used to give the home a more finished look and to tie the whole exterior together, but it is also necessary for the well-being of your home. 

So what is skirting? Skirting is attached to the side of the manufactured home and extends to the ground. It can be made of different materials and serves as a barrier between the outside and the underneath of your home. Skirting helps prevent critters from getting underneath the home and retains heat in the winter.
